it was one of those mornings should i go out or not the wx did not look to promising so i thought i would stay low and went for High Rigg the mist was down on Blencathra
looking over High Rigg to Thirlmere and Steel Fell in the middle it was very windy and cold on the top, the big black cloud coming in over Skiddaw told me it was time to make a hasty retreat but i still got caught in a shower a last look at Clough Head and down it was then head for RavenCrag Raven Crag above Thirlmere dam across the lake is Stybarrow Dodd on the left Raise . Whiteside. Helvellyn the zig zag path in the middle is Sticks Pass a long way down to the Dam it looks like you have to be colour coordinated to be cool on the hills these days the trainers match her coat and pink sock go with the rucksack its now starting to get crowded and time for me to head down a last look back to Raven Crag the cars are much better parked than last time out
