A few photos from Thursday and Yesterday .
I joined Reg to activate Stony Cove Pike on Thursday on 2m , and took advantage of the weather next day to do Hardknott doing 2M and 40M . Never been up Hardknott nor visited the Roman remains there so did both yesterday .

the activation of Stoney Cove Pike was great with i think 17 contacts.But after a hour on the summit the wind at 15mph and zero degrees it was time to move down
I will put up some of my photos when i get chance
I can not get Hardnott from home, i could hear Derek talking to you but nothing back
I have been studying photo number 4 and i think i can identify the fell which all look different from that side

I only got two contacts on VHF Reg from Hardknott. and the rest were on 40m .

Hard Knott is notoriously sheltered for VHF, maybe not quite as bad as High Rigg but never had that many contacts up there.
Lovely being surrounded by the fells when the snow was on the tops mind!
