Another four fells I’ve never been on before in my 60+ years of living in the area . The forecast was ideal , I’d been wanting to do Gt Gable for a while . I admit to being a fine weather walker as much of the enjoyment I get is the view from the top and I try to load the dice even though the weather can change from what is forecast often enough.

Great photos. It take me back to when i did the same route back in 2009. I only made one contact from Brandreth and 2 from Grey Knotts! I enjoyed the walk and i was lucky that day with the weather to untill i got to the summit of Great Gable when the cloud kept coming in and going!
