Thanks for the photos.

As it happens I was just looking at my SOTA stats and Red Screes comes in second behind Gummer’s How (49 activations) at 19 activations, but I must admit to never having done the trip down to Middle Dodd!

It’ll be on my mind now so maybe next time I’m up there!

It is quite a nice walk down from Red Screes .
The Brotherswater , Northern end of Middle Dodd howevere, is a long and steep monotonous descent . I reckon it would be a bit of a grueller going up that way .
It does I think, with these things depend on what you are expecting and your frame of mind, how hard things are on the day , (and the shape your knees are in) .
