Bright & Breezy Holme Fell

A few pictures from a very pleasant walk on a nice sunny Winter day with Reg and a cold wind blowing . Good to get the first contacts of 2024 and say hello to a few regular chasers , and the S2S contacts with the chaps on Hallin Fell , John on his summit in N Wales, and Jordan who was out for a long day and we managed to work on his hand held as he was setting up on the summit Knott .

Certainly done the landscape justice there Reg .
The sunlight at this time of year gives some great warm shades and textures doesn’t it?

What fantastic photos from you both. Yew tree tarn is one of my favourite tarns. Never done Holme Fell but looks a really nice walk.

It’ one of those smaller but interesting ones Geoff and high enough on a cold windy day for a fella who’d left his wind/waterproof over trousers in his own car at Reg’s . I got away with it OK but glad it didn’t rain or snow !
