I am hoping to activate Castle Crag LDW-214 on Sat 4th Nov 2023 with Reg 2E0LDF.
This will enable me to complete all of the North Western Fells as an activator. As it is the lowest of the 214 and very difficult to get out from we are hoping there will be some chasers about! Time is approximate and also weather dependant.
Hopefully we can qualify it.

i’m not bothed what the wx is i’m up for it i will take the ICOM pmr radio 30 watts and a drill battery
the lifepo 4 battery that failed as been fitted with a new management board and new seems ok but i will not chance it for the activation
i will also take my new bivi bag if it looks like rain

That would be great to have a higher powered radio. I will bring handhelds and an aerial just in case! Weather wont bother me either as i have plenty of bad weather clothing.
Do you park at the National Trust car park in Rosthwaite or another car park further through Rosthwaite on the left hand side?
