Not much fun today on the fells.
Tried to activate Latrigg this morning around 9am BST. It was vey windy with squally rain- 10 minutes of calling with 5w to a rucksack mounted half wave resulted in no contacts. Always had contacts from this summit on previous occasions - perhaps it was just too early on a Sunday morning.
This afternoon, a very windy High Rigg activation using the same set up resulted in just one contact with M0MKU - 59 both ways.
Hoping to try Binsey tomorrow (Monday) morning around 11am BST - this will be a new summit for me.
