Happy New Year! Geoff and I are heading back to Patterdale on Sunday 26th January and we are there until Friday 31st January. We hope that the weather improves so we can activate WOTA and SOTA summits. We are very much looking forward to being qrv on the fells once again.

We had a good first day activating the two Watch Hill summits and meeting in with Reg 2E0LDF again. Today (Monday) due to the weather forecast we are off to Keswick. Hopefully, back on the fells tomorrow.
I should be on Gummers How (G/LD-050, LDO-067) with the same ETA (1230) tomorrow (Wednesday) as you on Place Fell, and can do 2m FM first (and 30m CW later) if you want an easy summit to summit.

Nice to speak to you both from home on Black Combe on 2m and also on 40m on Halin Fell .
Would have been great to get a summit to summit on Wednesday from Illgill Head or Whin Rigg if the timings had worked out . Catch you next time .
