Ullock Pike,Longside,Carlside & Dodd

What a great day to be out on the fells and weather forecast was correct…dry and hot with clear views all around…only one new fell for me which was Dodd. Yes Dodd even my grandchildren have been there so thought I better bag it and dropped on to it from Carlside.
Radio used was my ft3d and probably around 5w with stock whip but the timing was nice and there was a lift on the 2mtr band and some interesting contacts made…all contacts fm.

Love that ridgeline walk, such good views, it was definitely a hot day, shame I was (and continue to be) stuck inside!

Cheers, Mark.

Thanks for the write up Mike and the Photos. I did not realise there was a HEMA in there, I’ll get that logged shortly!

Cheers

Steve
